SHV Ticket Counter Relocation at Shreveport Regional Airport This project was also part of TSA security upgrades but was implemented by the Shreveport Airport Authority. In order to accommodate new bomb detection instruments operated by TSA, all existing ticket counters had to be moved out about 12' from their old location. In order to accommodate the new power and data feeds to the relocated counters, Russell Electric sawcut trenches about 6" deep in the Terrazzo/concrete floor. Three-way metal trench ducts were installed to new 12" X 12" floor boxes at three separate counter groups. The ducts were then cemented into place and Terrazzo was poured to match existing patterns.
