BAFB Fuel Tank Replacement
Location: Fuel Storage Facility Barksdale Air Force Base Bossier City, LA
This project involved the replacement of a product recovery tank with a new pump and control system including an audiovisual warning system. A new service was constructed with underground feeder to the control system and fuel pump which was located in a NEC hazardous location. A new control system was installed for a set of 3 storage tanks which received the recovered jet fuel product from the main product recovery tank. This system allowed for automated recovery of fuel product with remote sensors and digital data capture which will enable system optimization for any mode of operation.
